“From birth, man carries the weight of gravity on his shoulders. He is bolted to earth. But man has only to sink beneath the surface and he is free.”

When I first started to dive, I reported my dives in a logbook, just like every new diver does. At some momenAbout DiveArtt little drawings appear and eventually the text was replaced by full page pencil ketches. Now a days I still visualize dives that are important to me, but instead of pencil drawings, I make full colour digital work, mostly inspired by the dives I make with my friends from Technical Diving College Hilversum.

Hemmoor series

This is the stuff I most enjoy making. Artwork inspired by a trip to Hemmoor has no limits to creative thinking and imagination.

Commissioned work

After some expositions at the Diveshow Duikvaker in Holland I was asked to design some work.
